The Meaning of Different Crystals 

Garnet is the birthstone for January. It is dark red in colour and is said to inspire love and devotion. Rose quartz is also associated with January and will help to promote love and friendship and will help to calm the emotions.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February. It is said to be calming and stimulating in different ways. It is light to deep purple in colour. Onyx is also a birthstone for February. It can be black, blue or red and it is said to be a strength giving stone.

Aquamarine and bloodstone are both birthstones for March. Aquamarine is a pretty turquoise colour. Bloodstone is a blackish green colour with red flecks and helps strengthen the will to do good.

Quartz crystal, Sapphire and white topaz are all birthstones for people born in April. 

Jade is the birthstone for May. It comes in a number of colours including green, lavender, white, and blue. It is said to attract good luck and friendship. Emerald, agate and chrysoprase are all other choices for May birthdays. Agate comes in various colours including blue lace agate. It is strongly connected with nature and is said to be a grounding stone.

Pearl is a birthstone for June and comes in various shapes and sizes. Other birthstones for June include: agate (see properties above), moonstone, alexandrite and emerald.
